Welcome to EventMoto (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website, services, or application (collectively, the \"Service\"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (\"Terms\"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

EventMoto is intended only for individuals aged 16 years or older. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age. Accounts must be registered by individuals, not organizations. Individuals may act on behalf of an organization, but the organization itself may not register as a user.

2. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. We provide a password strength meter at registration to encourage strong password creation. All user data is transmitted securely using HTTPS, and passwords are encrypted.

3. Use of Services

EventMoto allows users to create and manage events, including collecting registration information from event participants. Users must not:

Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to data or systems.
Copy, scrape, or harvest data from the platform beyond what is allowed via the user interface.
Violate the intellectual property rights of EventMoto or others.

4. User Content

Users are responsible for all data submitted to the platform. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use data submitted through your account for product improvement, internal analytics, and limited marketing efforts by EventMoto. We do not sell or rent user or registrant data.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Payments are processed through Stripe. For more details on how Stripe handles your data, please review their Privacy Policy.

6. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. EventMoto does not store credit card numbers or full payment information. We only store the result status returned by Stripe (e.g., success or failure).

6.1 Stripe Processing

All online registration fees are processed through Stripe. Organizers are responsible for connecting their Stripe accounts to receive funds. Stripe’s fees are automatically deducted before funds are transferred to the organizer.

6.2 EventMoto Fees

EventMoto charges a flat $2.25 fee per registration. This fee is deducted from online payments or invoiced separately for offline ("day of") registrations. Organizers are responsible for paying all applicable EventMoto fees.

6.3 Invoicing for Day-Of Registrations

For any registrations not paid online through Stripe (e.g., day-of-event entries), EventMoto will issue an invoice to the organizer following the event. These invoices will reflect the standard per-registration fee and are due within 15 calendar days of issuance.

6.4 Timeliness of Payment

All invoices issued by EventMoto are due within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum amount permitted by law) and may result in account suspension or service interruption.

6.5 Refunds

Event organizers are solely responsible for managing and issuing refunds to registrants. EventMoto does not issue refunds on behalf of organizers. Stripe fees and EventMoto fees are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the platform (including but not limited to code, design, text, and graphics) are owned by EventMoto and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to EventMoto or other users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

EventMoto is provided "as-is." While we strive to maintain service quality and uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. You use the service at your own risk. We are not responsible for issues arising from your internet connection, device configuration, or other third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventMoto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

EventMoto (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our web application, which allows users to create and manage car show events.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two types of data: account user data and event registrant data.

User Account Data: Name, email, IP address, and timestamp of last login.
Registrant Data: Name, address, phone, email, car year, make, model, color, type (e.g., convertible, truck), and Stripe payment status (success/fail only — no credit card data is stored).

2. Account Creation and Authentication

Users create an account with a username and password. Passwords are encrypted and must be at least 8 characters. A strength meter is provided during registration. Session variables and device fingerprints (on EventMoto-owned devices only) are used for secure access.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and manage the event creation and registration platform.
To allow event organizers to access registrant data for their events.
To track login activity for security purposes.
To display event-level analytics, such as number of cars registered by class.
To allow users to send promotional messages to their registrants.

4. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any user or registrant data with third parties. Event organizers have access to their registrant data, but EventMoto itself does not share this data outside the platform.

5. Email Communication

EventMoto does not currently send marketing or promotional emails. Users may send communications to their event registrants. If EventMoto begins sending promotional emails in the future, users will be given the option to opt-out.

6. Data Security

All communications are secured with HTTPS. Non-HTTPS connections are blocked.
Passwords and session tokens are encrypted.
Account access is protected by username/password and optionally by device fingerprint.

7. Data Access and Deletion

Users can view their account data by clicking the user icon in the application. To request deletion of an account, users must email us at info@eventmoto.com.

8. Children's Privacy

EventMoto is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. Geographic Scope

EventMoto is intended for users located in the United States only.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the updated date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of EventMoto after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
